My Fit Life Personal Trainer AdThe Louisville Leopards Boys Soccer Team doubled up the visiting Coventry Comets 4-2 Saturday Night at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the victory, Louisville improves to 2-6 at the midway mark of the regular season.

Blake Varner scored a pair of goals to lead the Leopards. The effort doubles Varner’s goal total for the season as he now has scored 4 times for Louisville this year. Riley Adams and Maddox Drake-McKimm also added scores for LHS. Adams netted his team-leading 6th goal of the year and Drake-McKimm recorded his 2nd of the season.

The victory is the Leopards first win over the Comets since 6-1 victory at Coventry on October 7, 2004. The all-time series is now tied 3-3-1 with LHS holding a 2-1-1 edge in matches played at Louisville.
