Lady Leopards Crush Crusaders 12-0 in Final Home Scrimmage – Girls Soccer

The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Soccer Team shutout the visiting Canton Central Catholic Crusaders 12-0 in their final home scrimmage Saturday Night at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the victory, Louisville stays unbeaten in the preseason with a record of 4-0.
Allan Registers Hat Trick in Just 6:13
Payton Allan recorded a hat trick in just 6:13 to lead Lady Leopards who dominated the Crusaders from start to finish. Allan scored off an assist from Alyssa Schillig just 2:19 into the contest. It would be the only goal Louisville would need as Central failed to find the net all evening.
Not long after, Allan tallied a pair of goals in a span of just 62 seconds to put the Leopards in front 3-0 with 33:47 left in the opening half.
Lab, Lint, & Schillig All Score Twice
Allan wasn’t the only Louisville player to add to the scoreboard more than once. Schillig followed her with a pair of goals in the 15th minute. The latter coming off a pass from Allan.
Lilli Lab and Kasey Lint both scored a goal in each half to record multi-goal games.
Reese Riley scored the only other first half goal for the Leopards via Schillig’s second assist. Ashley Yarian and Gianna Kruse rounded out the Louisville scoring with the final goals of the second half in the 67th and 76th minutes respectively.
Alissa Lingenhoel and Lint also tallied assists.
Edgein & Manko Combine for Shutout
Leopard goalkeepers Tristyn Edgein and Ezela Manko combined for the shutout in goal. This is the third consecutive shutout win for Louisville in the preseason.
The Leopards have outscored other schools 26-0. The last time Louisville surrendered a goal came in the Alumni Game.
