Taryn Gotschall, Kylah Meyer, Peyton Novosel, and Kensington Rode all won individual races, but Louisville fell to visiting Dover 74-54. The Lady Leopard 4×400 relay team also placed 1st as LHS dropped to 0-3 in dual meets.
Kylah Meyer set a meet record in the 1600 meter run to lead the Lady Leopards to a 6th place finish at the Dave Clegg Invitational. Owen DiMarzio also won the 200 meter dash and Haiden Williams took 1st in the seated 100 meter dash as the boys placed 8th.
Hailey Jackson won the 400 Meter Dash and Kylah Meyer won the 1600 meter run as the Lady Leopards placed 5th. The Louisville Boys also took 5th and were led by Rykar Hamid who took 2nd in the shot put.
Landyn Scheetz set a new school record in the pole vault, but the Lady Leopards fell to the visiting Tornadoes 90-47. The Louisville Boys also fell to Dover and all LHS seniors were honored for Senior Night.
Seth Anderson won the 400 as the Louisville Boys placed 10th and Kylah Meyer set a new school record in the 3200 as the Lady Leopards took 11th at the Stark County Championships.
The Louisville 4×800 meter relay team of Owen Pukys, Stephen Ulrich, Colby Adams, and Bobby Ganser captured a regional title and qualified for the state meet. Ganser also punched an individual ticket to state in the 3200 meter run.
Diana Pukys became a back-to-back district champion in the 800 Meter Run and Camryn Barker also advanced to regionals with a 4th place finish in the 3200 meter run. Louisville placed 11th as a team at districts.
The Lady Leopards won 3 team races en rout to finishing first as a team at the Jason Manse Crusaders Relays. The Louisville Boys also won 4 team races and took fourth. Cameron Brazek and Sloane Sypolt both took 1st individually in the shot put.
The Louisville Leopards Varsity Track and Field Teams competed at the Jackson Twilight Friday Night at Jackson High School. The Louisville Boys finished with 46 points to take sixth out of eight teams. The...
