The Louisville Leopards Girls Golf Team defeated the visiting Carrollton Warriors 195-199 in their dual home opener Tuesday at Pleasant View Golf. With the victory, Louisville evens their record to 1-1 on the young season.
Biery Shoots Team Low 44 for Louisville
Junior Peyton Biery shot a team best 8 over par 44 to lead the Lady Leopards. Junior Anna Myers and freshman Natalie Warner each shot 48 each. Senior Rachel Devins also tallied 55 to round out the Louisville scoring.
Senior Kylie Wallace also shot 56 and sophomore Isabelle Tack finished with 64.

Garner Cards Match Low 39 for Carrollton
Junior Ashlee Garner shot a match low 3 over par 39 to lead the Lady Warriors.
Other scoring golfers for Carrollton included senior Claire Hostetler 44, senior Savannah Gallo 57, and Kaylee Russell 59.
Leopards Vs. Warriors Series History
This was the first meeting between the Leopards and Warriors since both schools were members of the Northeastern Buckeye Conference in 2017. Louisville now leads the all-time series 12-5, which includes an 8-1 record in matches played at home.
The Lady Leopards have now taken 4 of their last 5 matches against Carrollton and their last 6 matchups in the series played on Louisville’s home course.

Devins and Wallace Honored for Senior Night
Prior to the match, Lady Leopard seniors Rachel Devins and Kylie Wallace were honored for senior night.
