Leopards Place 7th at Canfield Cup – Boys Golf
Louisville 382 (7th Out of 11)
The Louisville Leopards Boys Golf Team competed in the Canfield Cup Monday at Tippecanoe Country Club. The Leopards finished with a team score of 382 which earned them 7th place out of 11 teams competing in the tournament.
Justin Shafer shot a team low 89 to lead Louisville. Rounding out the Leopards top scorers were Ryan Aljancic 95, Sam Karcher 98, and Logan Yadrnak 100.
The Brookfield Warriors took the Canfield Cup compiling a team score of 332. They finished 14 strokes ahead of the second place Boardman Spartans (346) and 26 strokes ahead of the third place Austintown Fitch Falcons (358).
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next travel to face the Marlington Dukes on Thursday, August 22. Tee-time is set for 4:00 PM from Tannehauf Golf Club.
