Boys Tennis Opens Up 2015 with Shutout Victory at Alliance

The Louisville Leopards Boys Tennis team opened up the season with a 5-0 shutout win at Alliance Tuesday.

Jake Pukys led the Leopards by winning a perfect 6-0, 6-0 in #1 Singles. Other singles winners included Ryan Richards with a come from behind 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 victory in #2 Singles and Kyle Shepherd claiming a 6-1, 6-0 victory in #3 Singles.

Louisville’s Doubles Teams of Alex Hall & Kyle Robinson (6-2, 6-2) and Asa Herron & Zach Eddins (6-0, 6-2) took their respective matches.

The Leopards have now defeated the Aviators in 31 of their last 32 meetings against each other, which includes the last 16 overall. Louisville now leads the all-time series 43-5. The Leopards also improve their NBC Winning Streak to 22 straight wins and they have won 34 of their last 35 conference matches overall.
