Boys Tennis Clinches Share of NBC with Win at Salem

The Louisville Leopards Boys Tennis team downed the host Salem Quakers 4-1 Tuesday Evening. With the victory, Louisville clinches at least a share of the NBC Title as they improve to 7-0 in conference play and 9-2 overall.
The Leopards were led by Jake Pukys who won a perfect 6-0, 6-0 in #1 Singles. Louisville also swept both doubles matches that included the winning teams of Alex Hall & Kyle Robinson in #1 Doubles 6-2, 6-3 and Asa Herron & Zach Eddins in #2 Doubles 7-6(8-6), 7-5. Ryan Richards also took the #2 Singles match 7-6 (7-2), 6-3 for the Leopards.
With the win, Louisville has now defeated Salem in their past 5 meetings. The Leopards lead the all-time series 13-1.
Every other team in the NBC Standings has now lost at last 3 league matches, which has enabled Louisville to clinch a share of the conference so early. The Leopards have now won the NBC in each of the past 4 seasons and 7 out of the last 8 seasons overall. Louisville has now claimed 11 NBC Titles overall and has won a 14 total league championships in school history.
