Boys Tennis Blanks Canton South, Perfect at NBC Midpoint

The Louisville Leopards Varsity Boys Tennis team shutout the visiting Canton South Wildcats 5-0 on a chilly Wednesday evening at LHS. With the win, Louisville is now 6-2 overall and remains a perfect 5-0 at the midway point of NBC play.
Jake Pukys led the Leopards by dominating in #1 Singles by the count of 6-1, 6-0. Ryan Richards also battled to a 6-3, 7-5 win in #2 Singles and Ryan Richards won #3 Singles in straight sets 6-2, 6-3.
In Doubles play, Alex Hall and Kyle Robinson defeated their Canton South opposition for the second straight day 6-2, 6-1. In #2 Doubles, Asa Herron & Zach Eddins avenged their loss on Tuesday with a hard fought 6-2, 7-6 (8-6) victory.
With the victory, the Leopards have now won 8 straight matches against the Wildcats. Louisville now leads the all-time series 52-14 overall and has shutout Canton South in 28 of those meetings.
