Boys Tennis Beats Bulldogs 4-1

The Louisville Leopards Boys Tennis Team defeated the host Green Bulldogs 4-1 Thursday Evening. With the victory, Louisville improves to 17-5 on the season.
Every match was won in straight sets. Winners for the Leopards included Jake Pukys in #1 Singles 6-1, 6-2 and Spencer Hall in #3 Singles 6-1, 6-1.
Louisville also swept both doubles matches. The #1 Doubles Team of Alex Hall & Kyle Robinson took their match 6-2, 6-3 and the #2 Doubles Combination of Asa Herron & Zach Eddins won 6-2, 6-2.
With the victory, the Leopards become just the fifth team in school history to reach the 17 win mark. History can be made when Louisville travels to West Branch on Monday. If they are victorious, they would become just the second team in school history to reach 18 wins joining the 1977 team that finished 19-3. A 23rd match would also be the most played in a single season in team history.
Jacob Beck was the only winner for Green in #2 Singles 6-4, 6-3. The Leopards are now 8-2 against the Bulldogs all-time.
