Boys Soccer Season Ends on Late Corner Kick in Triway

BOYS SOCCER SECTIONAL FINAL

Triway 2, Louisville 1

On a dark, dreary, muddy night in Triway the Titans converted on a go-ahead goal off a corner kick with just 7:25 left and eventually won the game 2-1 ending Louisville’s season.

After a Triway goal with 5:21 remaining in the first half, Kyle Baker scored the Leopards only goal of the contest to tie the game at one going into the half. Baker scored with just 1:53 left in the first half giving the Leps hopes for a Sectional Title. But the late goal by the Titans ended Louisville’s dream as they finish the 2011 campaign 3-13-2.
