Boys Cross Country Wins 11th Straight NBC Meet

Louisville Leopards Boys Cross Country 2016 NBC Champions

Louisville – 24 (1st Out of 7)

The Louisville Leopards Boys Cross Country Team continued their domination of the NBC by rolling to Beatty's Blue Louisville Logo Coattheir 11th straight conference title Saturday at Copeland Oaks. Louisville finished with a team score of 24, significantly ahead of second place Carrollton who finished with 57 and well ahead of third place Salem who totaled 97.

The Leopards had 3 runners finish in the top 4. Zach Fresenko paced Louisville with a time of 16:02.8 to take second place individually. Fresenko finished just 5.6 seconds behind Carrollton’s Cole Lovett who was the Individual NBC Champion with a time of 15:57.2. Noah Chaplik (16:14.0) and Noah Murray (16:14.7) also took 3rd and 4th respectively for the Leopards.

Every Louisville runner finished in the top 14 out of the field of 50 participants. Also scoring for the Leopards http://www.facebook.com/JenniferLBolyard/were Nick Chaplik (6th) and Logan Ison (9th). Milks Hendricks (10th) and Seth Gronow (14th) also had strong races for a very deep Louisville squad.

The Leopards have now won 12 NBC Titles and have claimed 13 total league championships in their history.
