Boys Cross Country Finishes 4th in the State
Louisville – 141 (4th Out of 16)
The Louisville Leopards Boys Cross Country team concluded a fantastic 2015 campaign with a 4th place finish at the Division I State Meet at National Trail Raceway Saturday Afternoon. Louisville finished with 141 total places finishing only behind State Champion St. Ignatius 66, State Runner-Up Mason 96, and Third Place Solon 116.
Nick Chaplik (15:51.7) paced the Leopards with a 23rd place finish and Zach Fresenko (15:52.1) was not far behind in 25th. Rounding out the top five for Louisville were Noah Chaplik (56th), Noah Murray (62nd), and Christian Hendricks (82nd). Ben Tornow also finished 89th and Jacob Milburn 125th.
Their fourth place finish is the second best in school history only behind the State Champion team of 2010.
There will be a Community Reception for the Leopards Cross Country Team in the Green Space in Downtown Louisville on Sunday (November 8) from 2-4 PM. All are welcome to celebrate the Leopards great accomplishments this season.
