Boys Basketball Falls at Green 54-33

The Louisville Leopards Boys Basketball team fell to the host Green Bulldogs 54-33 Tuesday Evening in the Dog Pound at Green High School. With the loss, Louisville falls to 13-3 on the year.
Chris Libertore and Jake Pukys scored 9 points a piece to lead the Leopards. Drew Noble also scored 8 points and grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds.
Louisville held a 9-8 lead at the end of the first quarter, but the Bulldogs outscored the Leopards in each of the final three quarters to take the game. Green was led by Kenton Keeslar who scored a game-high 11 points. Austin Marciniak also tallied double figures with 10 and John Davies finished with 9.
The loss was the largest defeat of the season for Louisville and it snapped a 6-game winning streak for the Leopards. This is the first time these two schools have met in the regular season with Green holding a 2-1 advantage over Louisville all-time. The other two contests included a Leopards AAA Sectional 68-50 Section victory on February 25, 1984 and a Bulldogs DII Sectional Final 61-49 win on March 2, 1991.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next host the Minerva Lions on Friday, February 6. JV will begin at 6:00 PM and Varsity will follow around 7:30 PM.
