Leopards Fall at Home to Spartans 15-1 – Boys Lacrosse

The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team fell to the visiting Boardman Spartans 15-1 Saturday Afternoon at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the loss, Louisville drops to 0-2 on the season.
Balderson Scores Lone Leopard Goal
Junior attack Blake Balderson scored the Leopards lone goal in the opening quarter to cut the Spartans lead in half at 2-1. Junior attack Seth Colley provided the assist on the play and Louisville entered the second quarter down just 2-1.
It was all Boardman after that as they scored 13 unanswered goals the rest of the way. The Spartans led 8-1 at the half, extended their advantage to 12-1 by the end of the third, and added 3 more goals in the fourth quarter.
Louisville Vs. Boardman Lacrosse Series
The Leopards are now 2-2 against the Spartans all-time, which includes a 1-1 record in games played at Louisville in the series. The Leopards also defeated Boardman at home 15-4 back in 2022.
