Louisville 6, GlenOak 1

Rachel Baughman scored a school record six goals during the Louisville Lady Leopards 6-1 victory over the host GlenOak Golden Eagles Saturday Evening at Bob Commings Field. With the victory, Louisville is now 4-4-2.

What seemed like a normal out of conference game turned into a memorable, historical performance. With 31:08 left in the second half Baughman headed in a goal off a free kick from sister Hannah Baughman for the 100th goal of her career. After the score, the elated Baughman embraced her sister in celebration.

Just when you thought history was done being made, Baughman added two more second half Beatty's Sports Yellow Long Sleeved Shirtgoals to break the single game team mark. She broke away for her fifth goal that tied Carley Adams record performance set back on October 1, 2008 against Carrollton. Later on, Lindsey Bradley centered the ball near the edge of the goal box and Baughman booted the ball between two defenders for the record score.

Earlier on, the Lady Leopards pounced on the Golden Eagles 2-0 less than seven minutes into the game.  Baughman scored both goals in a span of 2:44. Bradley provided the assist with a lead pass on the first goal and Baughman broke away for the second goal. Excellent passes by Sami Keefe and Jessica Hamsher created space for Baughman’s Hat Trick Goal with 14:29 left before halftime.

Goalie Celia Keefe made several key saves on what looked to be sure goals. The only time GlenOak found the net was 12:36 before halftime. Olivia DiMichele scored off an assist from Abigail Palombo.

The Lady Leopards are now 8-3-3 all-time against the Golden Eagles which includes a 3-1-2 record at GlenOak.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next host the Marlington Dukes on Wednesday, September 24 at 7:00 PM.
