Another Leopards Late Rally Leads to Victory over New Philly 6-3

Louisville 6, New Philadelphia 3
Louisville rallied late again with 4 runs in the 6th and an insurance run in the 7th to defeat host New Philadelphia 6-3 Saturday afternoon. The Leopards pounded out 14 hits and Jordan Hughes pitched the entire contest without giving up a single earned run.
Riley Groves and Stephen Kerzan each had 2 hits and drove in 2 runs for the Leps. Joey Duckworth, Alex Hollifield, and Zach Shea also added 2 hits each.
Six different Leopards scored in the contest and none of the Quakers 5 hits were extra base hits. With the victory, Louisville is now 5-8 on the season.

Alex Hewitt pitched all seven innings, gave up just 1 earned run, and struck out 5 to lead Louisville. However, his efforts would not be enough as New Philadelphia won the contest 3-2.
The Leopards managed just 3 hits for the game from Marco Buccasso, Josh McQuilkin, and Riley Graybeal. Graybeal also recorded the only Louisville RBI of the contest, while Lukas Gilbert scored the only 2 runs.
The JV squad is now 9-4 on the year.
