Leopards Sweep Rough Riders on the Road – Boys Volleyball

The Louisville Leopards Boys Volleyball Team picked up a strong road victory Tuesday night, sweeping the Kent Roosevelt Rough Riders 25-12, 25-19, 28-26 at Kent Roosevelt High School. With the win, the Leopards improve to 9-5 on the season.
All-Around Effort Fuels Louisville Road Sweep
Senior outside hitter Brock Cole led the Leopards with a dominant performance, recording 15 kills and 3 blocks at the net. Junior setter Cale Lindner directed the offense with 14 assists, while senior libero Kyle Deem added 2 aces and 10 digs.
Senior Raiden Lindner played a key role on both ends, finishing with 14 service points and 10 digs to help pace Louisville throughout the match.
The Leopards controlled the first two sets 25-12 and 25-19, but had to battle late in the third. Kent Roosevelt pushed the set to extra points, but Louisville held on for a 28-26 win to complete the sweep.
Leopards Earn Season Sweep of Rough Riders
With the victory, the Leopards earn a season sweep of the Rough Riders. Louisville also defeated Kent Roosevelt 25-17, 25-10, 25-17 at LHS on April 8.
Roosevelt dominated the series before this season. The Leopards are now 2-4 against the Rough Riders all-time, which includes a 1-3 record when playing at Kent Roosevelt in the series.
