Leopards Pounce Early, Beat Black Tigers in Four Sets – Boys Volleyball

The Louisville Leopards Boys Volleyball Team earned a strong home victory Thursday night, defeating the visiting Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers in four sets 25-7, 20-25, 25-14, 25-17 at Louisville High School. With the win, the Leopards improve to 8-5 on the season.
Leopards Bounce Back to Beat Black Tigers
Senior outside hitter Brock Cole powered the Louisville attack with a team-high 18 kills. Junior setter Cale Lindner directed the offense with 18 assists, while senior libero Kyle Deem turned in a strong all-around effort with 6 aces, 13 service points, and 9 digs. Senior Raiden Lindner also added 9 digs to help anchor the Leopards’ defense.
Louisville came out firing with a dominant 25-7 win in the opening set before Cuyahoga Falls answered by taking the second 25-20. The Leopards quickly regained control, winning the third set 25-14 before closing out the match with a 25-17 victory in the fourth.
Louisville Sweeps Season Series with Cuyahoga Falls
With the victory, Louisville sweeps the season series from Cuyahoga Falls. The Leopards swept the Black Tigers on the road 25-11, 25-11, 25-16 back on March 17.
Louisville is now 2-3 against Cuyahoga Falls all-time, which includes a 1-2 record when playing at LHS in the series. The Black Tigers won all three matchups prior to this season.
