West Main Vet Clinic AdThe Louisville Leopards Boys Volleyball Team earned an impressive road victory Thursday evening, sweeping the host Walsh Jesuit Warriors 25-14, 25-16, 25-23 inside “The Dome” at Walsh Jesuit High School. With the win, the Leopards have now won three of their last four in improving to 7-4 on the season.


Cole Leads Leopards with 15 Kills

Gionino's Pizzeria Oakwood - Mobile AdSenior outside hitter Brock Cole led the Leopards with a dominant all-around performance, finishing with 15 kills, 3 aces, and 3 blocks. Junior setter Cale Lindner directed the offense with 15 assists, while senior Braden Frank added 12 assists and 7 kills in a strong all-around effort.

At the net, sophomore Evan Swope and freshman Ayden Mihelic each contributed 3 blocks, helping limit the Warriors’ attack. Senior Raiden Lindner anchored the defense with 14 digs, keeping rallies alive throughout the match.

Louisville controlled the first two sets with convincing wins 25-14 and 25-16. Walsh Jesuit made a late push in the third set, but the Leopards held on to secure the 25-23 victory and complete the sweep.


Louisville Snaps Skid Vs. Walsh Jesuit

With the victory, Louisville improves to 1-3 all-time against Walsh Jesuit, including a 1-1 record on the road. The Leopards picked up their first-ever win in the series after dropping the previous three meetings, which included a neutral-site loss at the Polar Bear Bash in 2024 and a pair of defeats during the 2025 season. Louisville did not win a single set in any of those first three matchups.

The Leopards will host the Warriors again on Friday, May 1.

JV: Louisville 25-25, Walsh Jesuit 9-21

My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side AdThe JV Leopards also earned a straight-set win, defeating Walsh Jesuit 25-9, 25-21 to improve to 10-1 on the season. Louisville dominated the opening set, jumping out to early leads of 9-0 and 15-1. In the second set, the Leopards rallied from a 13-5 deficit to complete the comeback and secure their fifth straight victory.

UP NEXT: The Louisville Leopards Boys Volleyball Team will next travel to take on the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs on Tuesday, April 21. JV will begin at 5:30 PM and Varsity will follow around 6:30 PM from Stow-Munroe Falls High School.
