Louisville Swept at Home By Jackson – Boys Volleyball

The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Volleyball Team fell at home to the visiting Jackson Polar Bears, dropping a straight-set match 21-25, 22-25, 12-25 Wednesday night at Louisville High School. With the loss, the Leopards fall to 6-4 on the season.
Polar Bears Pull Away Late to Sweep Leopards
Senior outside hitter Brock Cole led the Leopards offensively with 9 kills and added 3 aces from the service line. Sophomore Evan Swope contributed 6 kills at the net, while senior Braden Frank recorded a strong all-around performance with 11 assists and 9 digs. Freshman Ayden Mihelic also chipped in 3 aces for Louisville.
The Leopards battled closely in the opening two sets, falling just short 25-21 and 25-22. Jackson then took control in the third set, pulling away for a 25-12 victory to complete the sweep.
Polar Bears Continue Series Dominance
Jackson continues to hold the edge in the all-time series, improving to 4-0 against Louisville, including a 2-0 mark at Louisville High School. The Polar Bears have now won all 12 sets played between the two programs, outscoring the Leopards 300-199 overall with an average set score of 25-17.
