Louisville Varsity Leopards Falls To Central Catholic Varsity Vikings

Louisville Varsity Leopards fell to Central Catholic Varsity Vikings 6-3 on Monday.
Central Catholic Varsity Vikings got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Landon Greene doubled down the right field line, CJ Proch doubled to right field, and Lynch grounded into a fielder’s choice, each scoring one run.
Central Catholic Varsity Vikings added two runs in the second. Proch singled to center field, making the score 5-1.
Liam Pekarsky earned the win for Central Catholic Varsity Vikings. The pitcher gave up three hits and two runs over two and one-third innings, striking out three and walking two. Carter Deem pitched four innings in relief for Louisville Varsity Leopards. The pitcher gave up two hits and one run while, striking out four and walking two. Tate Aljancic took the loss for Louisville Varsity Leopards. The starter went two innings, allowing five runs on seven hits, striking out two and walking none. Yaniel Heredia earned the save.
Brock Leghart went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Louisville Varsity Leopards in hits. Aljancic, Leghart, and Jake Paumier each drove in one run for Louisville Varsity Leopards. Louisville Varsity Leopards turned two double plays in the game.
