The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Basketball Team made quick work of the visiting West Branch Warriors 79-56 Saturday Evening at Louisville High School. With their third straight victory, Louisville improves to 8-4 on the season.

Beau Siegfried Scores Career High 30 to Lead LHS
Beau Siegfried scored a career high 30 points, dished out 7 assists, recorded 5 steals, and also registered a block to lead the Leopards on both ends of the floor. He scored 16 of his 30 points in the second half, which included hitting home 4 of his 6 three-pointers after halftime.
Louisville stormed out of the gate to a 21-6 lead at the end of the first quarter. Siegfried was a perfect 4-for-4 from the line and finished with 9 in the second quarter as the Leopards took a commanding 41-22 advantage into the locker room. Siegfried hit double digits with 10 points in the third quarter as Louisville continued to widen the margin in taking a 62-34 lead into the fourth quarter. The Warriors would outscore the Leopards 22-17 in the final stanza as many Leopard backups filed into the game.
Aljancic and Loy Combine for 30 for Leopards
Tate Aljancic also made 4 three-pointers and finished with 20 points for Louisville. Kolton Loy also ended the evening in double figures with 10 points to go along with 5 assists. Both Aljancic and Loy led the Leopards with a game high 5 rebounds each.
Ashton Marshall proved to be a menace to West Branch all evening as he compiled a stat line of 4 points, 4 assists, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals. Cohen Rogers also hit a pair of three-pointers in the fourth to finish with 6, Austin Wade added 5, and Devin Bailey tacked on 4.
Lane Pours in Team High 26 for Warriors
Camden Lane made 6 three-pointers and raked in a team high 26 points to lead the Warriors. Lane hit 4 three-pointers in the second quarter and also scored 12 points in the fourth quarter.
Jeremiah Thomas was the only other West Branch player in double figures with 17 points to go along with a team best 3 assists. Grady Hirst also scored 4 points and hauled in a game high 6 rebounds.
Rounding out the scorer for the Warriors were Chase Gee with 3 and the trio of Cooper Anders, Landon Coffee, and Kasen Weaver who tallied 2 each.
West Branch has now dropped 6 of their last 7 games and falls to 4-8 on the year with the loss.
Louisville Wins 12th Straight Vs. West Branch
The Leopards have now defeated the Warriors in 12 straight meetings on the hardwood dating back to 2013. Louisville is now 58-24 against West Branch all-time, which includes a 26-14 record when playing at home in the series.
The Leopards are now 19-4 against the Warriors under the direction of Head Coach Tom Siegfried, which includes a 10-2 record at home during his tenure. Louisville remains unbeaten at home this season improving to 4-0 within the confines of Louisville High School.
