Leopards Take 6th at Hillsdale Invitational – Boys Golf

The Louisville Leopards Boys Golf Team competed at the Hillsdale Invitational at Mohican Hills Golf Club Friday. The Leopards shot 348 as a team to finish 6th out of 16 competing teams.
Jack Mayle shot a team low 82 to lead the Leopards and finished in 12th place individually. Ryan Aljancic finished just one stroke behind tallying an 83 to take 14th place against a field of 94 golfers.
Sam Karcher shot 90 and both Zach Root & Anthony Warner carded a 93 each to round out the Louisville scoring. Cole Miller also shot a 96 as the only other varsity participant for LHS.
Luke Schreck shot 76 to finish runner-up individually in leading the Cloverleaf Colts to a first place finish for the tournament with a team score of 315. He was only bested by tournament medalist Ean Miller who shot a tournament low 74 to help the Waynedale Golden Bears take second place as a team.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next compete in the Canfield Cup on Monday, August 17. The tournament is set to begin at 8:00 AM from Tippecanoe Country Club.
