North Canton Hoover 8, Louisville 1
The Louisville Leopards Varsity Softball Team fell to the host North Canton Hoover Vikings 8-1 at Goodpasture Stadium Monday Evening. With the loss, 
Louisville falls to 8-2 on the season.
The Leopards only run of the contest came in the seventh inning. Sydney McKeever singled to right scoring Lexi Zavarelle who had doubled in the at-bat before. Both finished with 2 hits for the evening as did fellow Louisville teammates Alex Fankhauser and Teagan Rice.

The Vikings jumped on the Leopards early and often taking a 5-0 lead in the bottom of the second. They also added another 3-spot in the fourth inning to 
pull ahead 8-0.
Grace Cea and Katie Yun drove in 2 runs each for North Canton. Kaitlyn O’Donnell and Heather Pinney both had a pair of hits as well. Grace Vesco pitched a complete game, gave up 1 earned run on 9 hits, and struck out 9 to lead the Vikings.
With the loss, Louisville has now dropped their last 7 meetings against Hoover. The Leopards now trail the all-time series 4-39 and have never won a game at North Canton in 24 meetings.
