8. Boys Basketball Beats Hoover for First Time After Nine Tries

The rollercoaster that was the Louisville Boys Basketball 2010-11 season perhaps hit its high point on February 15 when the Leopards beat rival North Canton for the first time since their flawless 20-0 season of 2000-01.  Toby Minster had a career game scoring 23 points and even had a bad pass go through the hoop for three-points.  Everything went right for the Leopards during the 69-60 win, their largest margin of victory over the Viks since a 60-50 win back in 1998-99.  Louisville’s defense forced Hoover to shoot just 27% from the field.  The Leps finished tied for second in the NBC and won a playoff game against Alliance, before being ousted by Northwest in the Sectional Finals.
