The Louisville Leopards gave up 20 unanswered second half points in a 20-6 loss to the visiting Wooster Generals back on September 15, 1989.
In the second quarter, Quarterback Robbie Arnold connected with Mark Sanders down the middle of the field for a 55 yard score. The touchdown pass gave the Leopards a 6-0 lead, but it would be their only points of the contest.
Wooster mounted a second half comeback via their running game which out-rushed Louisville 328-119. Generals Runningback Andrew DeLoach finished with 37 carries for 197 yards and ran for third quarter scores of 2 and 4 yards to put Wooster ahead.
The game remained a one possession contest into the fourth quarter before the Generals Mark Maruna hit Travis Yost for an 11 yard touchdown strike. That score put Wooster ahead 20-6 to close the deal.
The Leopards were led on the ground by John Sivy who carried the ball 14 times for 54 yards. Sanders finished with 2 catches for 78 yards to lead all receivers.
