Louisville 24-25-25-25, Minerva 26-14-12-16

The Louisville Lady Leopards Volleyball team took a four set match with the host Minerva Lions 24-26, 25-14, 25-12, 25-16 Thursday Evening at MHS. With the victory, Louisville is now 4-2 overall and 3-1 in league play.

Emily Hollifield led the Leopards with 12 Kills, 11 Digs, and 7 Blocks. Haley Shadle also put together an impressive stat line with a team-high 34 assists and 11 Digs. Kayla Cole was Louisville’s top server with 18 points and 1 ace.

The Lady Leopards have now taken 4 out of the last 5 from the Lady Lions and 2 out of the last 3 meetings at Minerva.

JV: Louisville 25-25, Minerva 16-12

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next host the first place Carrollton Warriors on Tuesday, September 9. JV will begin at 5:00 PM and Varsity will follow at 6:00 PM.
