Leopards Down United Local for 4th Straight Shutout – Girls Tennis

The Louisville Leopards Girls Tennis Team shutout the visiting United Local Eagles 5-0 Thursday Evening at Louisville High School. The shutout is their fourth in a row as the Lady Leopards improve to 10-2 on the year.
Louisville won every match in straight sets. Sherilynn Mullett won by a perfect count of 6-0, 6-0 in #3 singles. Rachel Kibler and Jo Menegay were also nearly perfect in their singles matches as well. Kibler won #1 singles 6-1, 6-0 and Menegay won #2 singles 6-0, 6-1.
Both Leopards doubles teams dominated the opposition as well. The #1 team of Amanda Plaskett and Jade Thomas earned a 6-2, 6-1 victory. The #2 doubles team of Carleen Fouts and Bailey Menegay only surrendered a single match game in a 6-0, 6-1 win.
Altogether Louisville outscored United Local 60-6 in total match games. The Leopards have shutout the Eagles in their last 6 matchups together. Louisville is undefeated against United Local all-time at 23-0 with 14 total shutouts.
