Lady Leopards Set School Record, Take 2nd at Tri-Country Preseason Tournament
Louisville – 327 (2nd Out of 15)
The Louisville Leopards Girls Golf Team began the 2019 campaign by setting a new school record. They finished with an all-time record low team score of 327 which allowed them to place second at the Tri-County Preseason Tournament Tuesday at Pleasant View Golf Club.
Alexis Ralston shot a team best 76 to lead the Lady Leopards. Other scorers for Louisville included Erin Strouse 79, Katie Bice 80, and Madison Gruber 92.
The Marlington Dukes won the tournament in finishing just two strokes ahead of Louisville with a team score of 325. The Leopards beat out the third place Tusky Valley Trojans who finished at 332.
The match marked the debut of new Head Coach Michele Vlacovsky who took over for previous Head Coach Ted Cahill (70-17 from 2014-2018).

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards JV will next compete at the GlenOak JV Invite at Sanctuary Golf Club on Wednesday, August 7 starting at 9:00 AM. Varsity will be back in action on Thursday, August 8 when the compete at the JFK Lady Eagle Invite also starting at 9:00 AM at Trumbull Country Club in Warren.
