Track: Boys Finish 5-2 & Girls Finish 6-1, Seniors Honored

The Louisville Leopards Boys & Girls track teams concluded the regular season Tuesday evening at LHS. All 14 Louisville Seniors were also honored prior to the meet for Senior Day.

Beatty's Sports Track Shirt 2013The Boys defeated Carrollton 74-54 to finish the season 5-2 and in a 3-way tie for second place in the NBC Standings. Salem narrowly defeated West Branch 65-63 to finish a perfect 7-0 run through the NBC. The Warriors loss dropped them to 5-2 along with the Dukes and Leopards. The Leopards also finished 16th at the Jackson Twilight Invitational this past weekend.

The Girls defeated Carrollton 86-42 to finish the season 6-1 and alone in second place in the NBC Standings. West Branch defeated rival Salem 72-56 to finish a perfect 7-0 in regular season play. The Quakers dropped to 5-2 to finish third in the league. The Lady Leopards lone loss came to West Branch in the opening meet, they will look to avenge that loss in the NBC Meet at Marlington Friday. The Lady Leopards also finished 10th at the Jackson Twilight Invitational this past weekend.
