Swimmers Make a Splash at Cleveland State

The boys and girls swim teams competed in the District Meet at Cleveland State this past weekend. Here were their District times and placements as well as pictures and video:

BOYS

The 200 Freestyle Relay (Michael Stillwagon, Brad Chapman, Scotty Valentine and Matt Campbell) placed 15^th with a season best time of 1:37.70.
The 400 Freestyle Relay (Michael Stillwagon, Brad Chapman, Scotty Valentine and Matt Campbell) placed 17^th with a season best time of 3:38.46.
Matt Campbell placed 16^th in the 50 Freestyle with a season best time of 23.14.
Matt Campbell placed 19^th in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 51.67.
Scotty Valentine placed 25^th in the Butterfly with a time of 59.78.
Scotty Valentine placed 28^th in the Individual Medley with a time of 2:19.90.

GIRLS

Stephanie Brookens placed 35^th in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 26.01.
Stephanie Brookens placed 31^st in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 56.75
Becky Mann placed 48^th in the 200 Freestyle with a time of 2:07.72.
Brittany Yu placed 35^th in the 100 Butterfly with a season best time of 1:05.54. Brittany improved her seed (46^th) to a 35^thplacement.
Stephanie Horton placed 45^th in the 100 Breaststoke with a time of 1:16.34. Stephanie improved her seed (49^th) to a 45^thplacement.
