Leopards Blank Ravens in Opener 3-0 – Boys Soccer

The Louisville Leopards Boys Soccer Team opened up the new season with a 3-0 shutout of the visiting Ravenna Ravens Thursday Night at Louisville Leopards Stadium.
Riley Adams scored a goal and registered an assist to lead the Leopards offense. Adams assisted Hunter Foley on his early goal just minutes into the game. Logan Rich also scored midway through the second half and Adams removed all doubt with a final goal with 3:17 left to play.
Goalie Clayton McLaughlin earned the shutout to lead the Louisville defense.
The Leopards are now 3-2 against Ravenna all-time, which includes a 3-1 mark in games played at Louisville. This was the first meeting between the two teams since the Leopards defeated the Ravens 10-1 on October 23, 2010 in the DII Sectional Finals.
The Leopards are now 9-8-2 in season openers since the program began in 2000.
