Kylah Meyer took first place in the DI/DII race for the second straight week finishing in 18:19.07 as Louisville took 16th place out of 19 teams a the Milt Place Festival. Amelie Anderson, Madelynn Bailey, Stella Blommel, and Camryn Cline rounded out the Leopards scoring.
Carter Burton scored the game-tying goal with 28:45 remaining via an assist from Raiden Lindner as Louisville tied visiting Perry 1-1. The Leopards are now 6-6-2 on the season.
Gabe Stoffer accounted for 307 yards and 3 touchdowns to lead the Leopards in their nail-biting loss to the visiting Cardinals. Quin Burick also had 7 catches for 134 yards and Owen DiMarzio caught a touchdown pass as Louisville fell to 5-2.
Mabel Kiko had a team-high 15 kills and Carlee Rhome a team-best 24 assists to lead the Lady Leopards in a sweep of the visiting Potters 25-16, 25-11, 25-11. Karis Miglich and Taylor McCully led the defense with 17 digs each as Louisville improved to 11-7.
Kylah Meyer placed first in DI/DII and finished as the country runner-up overall with a time of 19:03.39 to lead the Lady Leopards in their sixth place finish at the Stark County XC Championship Meet. Amelie Anderson also placed 9th for LHS.
Evan Brown placed 52nd and Luke Boldon took 57th to lead the Leopards in their 11th place finish at the Stark County XC Championship Meet. Istvan Hendricks, Ryan Mann, and Gianni Faiello rounded out Louisville’s top 5.
Alyssa Schillig scored 4 goals and Reese Riley set a school record with 5 assists in Louisville’s 5-2 Senior Night win over Alliance. Kasey Lint also added a goal as the Lady Leopards improved to 7-5-1 on the season.
