Carter Burton scored a pair of goals in the first half for the Leopards, but the Knights scored 3 unanswered goals in the second half to take the contest 5-2. Louisville is now 1-2 on the season with the loss.
Gianna Kruse’s first half goal via an assist from Alyssa Schillig put the Leopards in front in the first half, but the Trojans rallied with a pair of goals in the final 17:11 to take the contest. Louisville is now 0-2 on the season.
Cody Zahler threw 4 touchdown passes to four different receivers during the Leopards 35-0 shellacking of the visiting Quakers. Lucas Neff also ran in a touchdown and Bryce Johnson blocked a punt for LHS.
Kloey Rukavina had 7 kills and 3 blocks to lead Louisville past Claymont 25-17, 25-21. Emma Kroah finished with 18 service points and Dakota Gross had 11 kills to lead the Leopards past Massillon 25-10, 24-26, 25-7. LHS is now 3-1 on the season.
Senior Strong! Five seniors headline Louisville boys cross country in 2025, with Evan Brown and Gianni Faiello pacing a deep lineup that includes Brock Cole, Luke Boldon, and rising junior Alex Lewton. A talented freshman group led by Istvan Hendricks and Ryan Mann adds fuel. The Leps open Aug. 23 at Salem, then Aug. 27 at East Canton.
Gabe Stoffer accounted for 199 total yards and 2 touchdowns to lead the Leopards in their 24-0 shutout win over the host Quakers. Luke Seaman also returned a pick six and Quin Burick caught a touchdown pass as Louisville earned its first week 1 shutout win since 2009.
Karter Pawley scored on touchdown runs of 70 and 60 but Louisville fell to visiting New Philadelphia 41-21 in the season opener. Anderson Jones also hauled in a fourth quarter touchdown pass from Maddux Edgein.
Mable Kiko led at the net with 15 kills and 7 blocks as the Lady Leopards fell in four hard-fought sets to the host Cardinals 33-31, 28-30, 21-25, 18-25. Louisville set a team record with 33 points in the first set as they dropped to 1-1.
Taylor McCully had 15 kills and 9 digs to lead the the Lady Leopards in their 25-21, 25-15, 21-25, 25-18 season opener win over the host Spartans. Mabel Kiko also had 10 kills and 2 blocks and Carlee Rhome finished with 22 assists and 3 aces.
Lorieona Jannone a goal in each half as to lead visiting Canfield past Louisville 2-0. Elliot Klimas also recorded 9 saves and earned the shutout in goal for the Cardinals.
