Leopards Defeat Indians to Improve to 8-0 – Girls Golf

The Louisville Leopards Girls Golf Team continued in their undefeated ways by defeating the visiting Northwest Indians 166-208 Wednesday Evening at Pleasant View Golf Club. With the victory, Louisville ups their perfect mark to 8-0 on the season.
Erin Strouse was the match medalist shooting 38 for the day and Alexis Ralston also shot 42 to lead the Lady Leopards. Katie Bice, Abby Davis, and Madison Gruber all shot 43 each to round out Louisville’s final two scorers.
Other LHS varsity participants included Lauren L’Amoreaux who shot 48 and Peyton Biery who tallied 54.
Five Lady Leopards shot better than the Indians Maria Dangelo who finished with a team low 46. Natalie Geiger also shot 49 and Ashton Schwiger 55. Jessica Cliff and Lydia Woodward rounded out the Northwest scoring by shooting 58 each.
This was the first ever meeting between the two schools in girls golf.
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next travel to New Philadelphia to take on the Quakers on Tuesday, September 1. Tee-time is set for 4:00 PM from Union Country Club.
