The Louisville Leopards Boys Soccer Team tied the visiting Northwest Indians 1-1 Wednesday Evening at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the draw, Louisville is now 1-3-2 on the season.
Riley Adams scored the lone goal for the Leopards in the first half as Louisville took a 1-0 lead into the break. For Adams it was his second score of the season.
The Indians knotted the game late in the second half when Grant Baughman scored a goal via an assist from Ian Donohue. Neither team found the net after that.
Northwest (2-1-1) held an 8-5 advantage in shots, but Louisville had more corner kicks by an 8-6 count. Leopards Goalie Clayton McLaughlin finished with 6 saves, while the Indians Jay Aaron had 4 saves.
This was the first regular season meeting between the two schools since 2011, the year after Northwest left the Northeastern Buckeye Conference. The Leopards are now 6-5-2 against the Indians all-time which includes a 3-1-2 record in games played at Louisville.
