Louisville Now 4-0 After Win Against Nordonia – Girls Tennis

The Louisville Leopards Girls Tennis Team defeated the visiting Nordonia Knights 4-1 Thursday Morning at the Louisville High School Dennis Biery Sports Complex. With the victory, the Lady Leopards remain undefeated improving to 4-0 on the year.
Louisville dominated singles action taking all three matches in straight sets and outscoring Nordonia in set points 36-14. Rachel Kibler won #1 singles (6-1, 6-3), Jo Menegay took #2 singles (6-3, 6-2), and Sherilynn Mullett earned a victory in #3 singles (6-1, 6-4).
The Leopards split doubles action with the Knights. The #1 doubles team of Amanda Plaskett and Jade Thomas earned a 6-2, 6-2 straight set win. The #2 doubles team of Carleen Fouts and Bailey Menegay fell to Nordonia’s Isabella Schuster and Leah McMichaels 6-2, 5-7, 6-2.
The Leopards have now defeated the Knights in each of the past two seasons.
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next compete at the Orrville Invitational on Saturday, August 17. Start time is set for 9:30 AM from the College of Wooster.
