Carter Busby scored the game-winner with 8 seconds left to complete the Leopards largest rally since 2020 in a 3-2 win over the visiting Hornets. Carter Burton and Maddox Mayle also scored first half goals as Louisville improved to 3-5.
Luke Seaman caught a TD and blocked a punt for another and Owen DiMarzio ran the opening kickoff back for a score as Louisville mauled Marlington from start to finish 45-7. Gabe Stoffer also accounted for 224 yards of offense and 3 touchdowns as the Leopards improved to 3-0.
Linkin Light ran back a pick six with 1:33 remaining and Eden Swonger caught a touchdown pass from Parker Long to tie the game before that as the Louisville 8th Grade Team rallied in the fourth quarter to earn their first victory over the season at Alliance 12-6.
Kylah Meyer broke the Lady Leopards program record in taking the top time in DII clocking in at 18:19.8. Amelie Anderson also placed 15th as Louisville finished 11th in DII as a team.
Dakota Gross recorded 13 kills, Addie Johnston had 12 assists, Aubrey Johnston registered 12 digs, but the Lady Leopards fell to the host Crusaders in three sets 27-25, 25-17, 25-23 to drop to 4-4 on the season.
Evan Brown paced the Leopards with a time of 17:26.80 as Louisville took 16th as a team in DII at the Wooster Invitational. Ryan Mann, Luke Boldon, Istvan Hendricks, and Gianni Faiello rounded out the top 5 for LHS.
Dakota Gross led the Louisville attack with 13 kills and Karis Miglich had 13 service points and 9 digs as the Lady Leopards defeated the host Warriors 25-13, 31-29, 25-16. Mabel Kiko also registered 8 kills and 4 blocks as LHS improved to 4-3.
Kasey Lint scored a pair of second half goals to lead the Louisville past visiting Lake 5-2. Alyssa Schillig, Gianna Kruse, and Reese Riley also scored goals and Violet Lab notched two assists as Louisville improved to 3-4.
