The Leopards turned the ball over 5 times en rout to being blanked by the visiting Vikings 21-0. Connor Adelman recorded Louisville’s only takeaway on an interception in the endzone on Hoover’s opening drive.
Zack Seaman caught a go-ahead touchdown pass from Caleb Miller in the fourth quarter, but the Generals scored late to beat the Leopards 16-14. Connor Adelman also ran for a touchdown and recorded a pair of interceptions on defense of Louisville who falls to 0-3.
