Paul Farrah returned a kickoff 89 yards for a touchdown to cut the deficit to 14-7 before halftime, but Louisville fell to host Canton McKinley 23-7 at Fawcett Stadium on October 15, 1983. Bruce Mathie also had an interception for LHS.
