Baseball Can’t Crack DeShields, Surrender 1st to West Branch

Brody Hahn & Issac Mathie each smashed 3-run doubles to lead the Leopards past the Quakers 10-1. Cameron Prasco pitched a complete game & struck out 5 on the mound.
Blake Hoover and Chris Libertore each dropped in a team-high 10 points, but the Leopards still fell to the host Spartans 49-45. Jake Adams also added 9 for Louisville.
Louisville drew the 4th Seed in the DI Austintown Girls Soccer Tournament Draw and will play the winner of Canton McKinley at GlenOak on October 16 in the Sectional Finals.
Louisville drew the 9th Seed in the DI Austintown Boys Soccer Tournament Draw and will play the winner of Canton McKinley & North Canton Hoover on October 18 in the Sectional Finals.
Louisville finished two places ahead of Twinsburg to finish 3rd at the DI Youngstown Boys Cross Country Regional. Noah Chaplik led all Leopard runners by finishing 18th individually.
The Louisville Lady Leopards Girls Soccer team will host the winner of GlenOak-Hoover in the Sectional Finals on Thursday, October 17 at 7:00 PM.
The Louisville Leopards drew the 8th seed at the DI Austintown District Tournament Draw Sunday and will host the Perry Panthers on October 16 at 7:00 PM.
The Louisville Leopards Boys Cross Country team placed 1st overall at the GlenOak Golden Eagle Invitational Saturday. The Girls also took 18th overall.
The Lady Leopards concluded the 2012 season with a 4-1 win across town at St. Thomas Aquinas. With the victory Louisville finishes the season at 14-1 and is 45-3 since 2010 in dual meets overall.
