Leopards Shutout New Philadelphia to Improve to 11-2 – Girls Tennis

The Louisville Leopards Girls Tennis Team shutout the visiting New Philadelphia Quakers 5-0 Monday Evening at Louisville High School. With their fifth straight shutout win, Louisville ups their mark to 11-2 on the year.
The Lady Leopards took every match in two sets. Rachel Kibler dominated in #1 singles earning a 6-0 shutout in the first set and scoring a near perfect 6-1 win in her second set. Jo Menegay claimed a 7-5, 6-2 victory in #2 singles and Sherilynn Mullett also won 6-2, 6-2 in #3 singles.
Both Louisville doubles teams also won in straight sets. The #1 doubles team of Mandy Plaskett and Jade Thomas earned a 6-2, 6-1 victory. The team of Carleen Fouts and Bailey Menegay also shutout the opposition in their first set before taking their #2 doubles match 6-0, 6-2.
The Lady Leopards are now 11-0 against the Lady Quakers all-time. They have shutout New Philadelphia in 3 of their past 4 meetings and have outscored them 47-8 in those 11 contests.
