Louisville Earns Home Win Against New Philadelphia – Boys Golf
Louisville 179, New Philadelphia 184
The Leopard Boys Golf team was able to return to the win column Monday night at Sleepy Hollow Country Club in Alliance, defeating the New Philadelphia Quakers 179-184.
Leading the Leopards were paced by co-medalists Justin Shafer and Logan Vanicek, each carding a 42 (a career low for Vanicek). Recording the other 2 scores for the Leopards were Ryan Aljancic with a 47 and Tommy Karcher with a 48.
The Quakers were led by co-match medalist Jacob Hootman with a 42. Also posting scores for New Philly were Drew Wherley with a 45, Shad Kenily with a 46, and Nick Baker with a 51.
With the win, the Leopards improve to 3-4 on the season while the Quakers drop to 7-3.
