New Louisville Leopards Football Head Coach to Be Announced Monday

It appears the coaching search for the vacant Louisville Leopards Head Coach job is over. According to the Leopard Touchdown Club Facebook page “I am told new head coach will be announced at school board meeting on Monday night!”

Rumors have been circling throughout Leopard Nation, social media, and other forums including Yappi about the announcement. Leopard Nation received a multiple reports late Saturday Afternoon that Jeff Twiddy, who we confirmed applied for the position, was the candidate to be named Head Coach this upcoming week. 

Leopard Nation contacted multiple sources within the Louisville administration and in the Board of Education, but none were able to confirm the hire. Multiple sources from within the Leopard Touchdown Club have pointed to Twiddy as the next head coach.

Candidate Jeff Twiddy Past Coaching Experience

My Fit Life Personal Trainer AdTwiddy went 26-17 (.605) as the Head Coach of Meadowbrook over the past 4 seasons and led the Colts to the Division V playoffs in 2015, 2017, and 2018. He holds a 2-3 mark in playoff games after Meadowbrook defeated Oak Hill 62-13 and Ridgewood 50-25 this past season to punch their ticket to the Region 19 Championship. They would fall to eventual state runner-up Johnstown-Monroe 45-14 in that matchup.

Twiddy previously held coaching positions at Mogadore and Canton McKinley under Ron Johnson. He was also a 2001 graduate of Mogadore High School and played on the Wildcats during their State Runner-Up season in 2000.
