McQuilkin, Ohman, Schooley Represent Leps in East-West Game Saturday

Three Louisville Leopards will represent the East All-Stars in the 24th Annual Stark County East-West All-Star game at Fawcett Stadium this Saturday (July 14) at 7:30 PM. The following Leopards will be playing in the contest:

Jeremy McQuilkin – WR-DB

The versatile Jeremy McQuilkin played a variety of positions during the 2012 season. As a receiver he caught 15 passes for 147 yards and a touchdown. When starting quarterback Joey Duckworth went down with a season-ending injury, McQuilkin took the majority of snaps from center for the remainder of the year. He finished 29 of 53 passing for 254 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also carried the ball 24 times for 128 yards and picked off a pass on defense. McQuilkin was a Scholar Athlete and named 2nd Team All-NBC.

Trent Ohman – WR-DB

The all-around Trent Ohman led the Leopards in receiving, rushing, and punt/kick returning in 2012. He finished with 48 catches for 486 yards and 4 touchdowns as a receiver, rushed for 575 yards on 98 carries and 6 touchdowns on the ground, he returned 7 kickoffs for 391 yards (23.0 average) which included a 68 yard return, and he returned 14 punts for 189 yards (13.5 average) that included an 88 yard game-winning punt return touchdown Vs. Alliance. Ohman was named 1st Team All-NBC and also led the NBC in receiving during 2011 with 67 catches for 756 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Alex Schooley WR-DB

Alex Schooley made 32 receptions for 254 yards and 4 touchdowns during the 2012 season. The special teams star returned 12 kickoffs for 234 yards (19.5 average), returned 1 punt for 24 yards, punted the ball 18 times for 578 yards (32.1 average), and also recovered 2 fumbles in kick/punt coverage during the season. Schooley was a Scholar Athlete and named 2nd Team All-NBC.
