Louisville Edges Massillon 3-2 – Girls Tennis

The Louisville Leopards Girls Tennis Team edged the visiting Massillon Tigers 3-2 Monday Evening at Louisville High School. With the victory, Louisville improves to 13-5 on the year.

Rachel Kibler led the Leopards by dominating #1 singles a perfect 6-0, 6-0. Sherilynn Mullett also earned a convincing 6-0, 6-1 victory in #3 singles for Louisville. The Leopards #1 doubles team of Amanda Plaskett and Jade Thomas also won 7-5, 6-1 to seal the victory.

Maddie Preiss was the lone Tigers singles winner taking her #2 singles match 6-3, 6-1. The #2 doubles team of Kylie Bowen and Isabella Schulsteis were also 6-0, 7-5 winners for Massillon.

With the victory, Louisville has now defeated Massillon in 6 straight meetings. The Lady Leopards now lead the all-time series over the Tigers 14-9.
