Leopards Tame Tigers, Sprout Rolls Record Series – Bowling

The Louisville Leopards Bowling Team swept the visiting Massillon Tigers Monday at Eastbury Bowling Center. The Louisville Boys won their third straight match in defeating Massillon 2667-2361. LHS now holds their first winning mark in team history at 5-4. The Lady Leopards earned their sixth straight victory in downing the Tigers 1949-1882. The Louisville Girls squad is now 7-2 on the season.
Boys: Louisville 2667, Massillon 2361
The Louisville Leopard Bowling Team won against Massillon on Monday. Chase Barstow led the Leopards with games of 223 and 222. Matt Darlison followed with a 205 and 204. Nick Phillips rolled a 171 and a 205. Thomas Warner threw a 174 and 178. Randy Ellis bowled a 177 and Blake Yuhaniak threw a 151. Caleb Shardy was a big contributor to the baker games.
The Boys JV won. Garrett Chilson led the boys with a 184 and 128 game. The JV had a lot of PR’s beat and had a team-high first game series of a 770.
The team will bowl in the Garaway Varsity Holiday Bowl at Wabash Lanes on December 28th.

Girls: Louisville 1949, Massillon 1882
The Lady Leopard Bowling Team won against Massillon on Monday. Chloe Sprout led the Leopards with a 246 and 226 for a 472 series breaking the previous school record. Carleen Fouts followed with a 211 and 185. Grace Daugherty rolled a 144 and 138. Alissa (AJ) Harvey rolled a 125 and 114. Meara Young rolled a 150. Marissa Hilson had a 121.
The Lady Leopards JV fell to Massillon 1109-1196. Alysa Thornhill led with games of 110 and 108.
The team will bowl the Garaway Varisty Holiday Tournament at Wabash Lanes on December 28th.
