Late Comeback From Massillon Tigers Costs Louisville Varsity Leopards

Louisville Varsity Leopards stayed in it until the end, but Massillon Tigers pulled away late in a 2-1 victory on Tuesday at TBD. The game was tied at one in the top of the sixth when Blake Hobson singled, scoring one run.
Both teams were strong on the mound. Massillon Tigers pitchers struck out eight, while Louisville Varsity Leopards sat down seven.
A double by I Maxheimer put Massillon Tigers on the board in the top of the fourth.
Grayson Brunoni singled down the right field line, which helped Louisville Varsity Leopards tie the game at one in the bottom of the fourth.
B Polilli earned the win for Massillon Tigers. The starter allowed three hits and one run (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out eight and walking two. Trevor Burick took the loss for Louisville Varsity Leopards. The reliever went one and one-third innings, surrendering one run on two hits, striking out two and walking three. Brunoni started the game for Louisville Varsity Leopards. The starting pitcher allowed three hits and one run over four innings, striking out three and walking one.
Brunoni went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Brunoni, Zander Triplett, and Cooper Rice each collected one hit for Louisville Varsity Leopards. Louisville Varsity Leopards turned one double play in the game.

Isaac Mohler collected three hits in three at bats, as Louisville Freshman Leopards defeated Massillon Tigers (Freshman) 7-5 on Tuesday at Louisville High School – Freshman Field. Mohler singled in the first inning, singled in the third inning, and singled in the fifth inning.
Massillon Tigers (Freshman) got on the board in the top of the first inning after Kaedyn Ross walked, and Louisville Freshman Leopards committed an error, each scoring one run.
Mohler singled to right field, which helped Louisville Freshman Leopards tie the game at two in the bottom of the first.
In the bottom of the third inning, Louisville Freshman Leopards went back into the lead after Carter Whitlatch singled to the left side of the infield, and Caden Thorn grounded into a double play, each scoring one run.
Xaidyn Cole singled to the left side of the infield, which helped Massillon Tigers (Freshman) tie the game at four in the top of the fourth.
Louisville Freshman Leopards captured the lead, 7-4, in the bottom of the fifth after Talon Zimmerman grounded out, Jacob Cargyle walked, and , each scoring one run.
