Lady Leopards Golf Splits NBC Tri with Marlington and Salem

Marlington 160, Louisville 175, Salem 242

The Louisville Leopards Girls Golf Team split a tri-meet with NBC foes Marlington and Salem Thursday at Pleasant View Golf Club. Louisville fell to the Marlington Dukes 160-175, Louisville Leopards Under Armor Established 1924 T-Shirtbut defeated the Salem Quakers 175-242. With these results, the Leopards are now 1-2 overall and 1-1 in league play.

Louisville’s Alexis Beaver was the medalist for the day tying Marlington’s Kaitlyn Engelhart with a match low 39. Felicity Adkins and Karli Redinger also shot a 45. Katie Bice rounded out the Leopards scoring by carding a 46.

Grove Appliance Alliance Ohio AdBehind Engelhard, the Lady Dukes were led by Eric Headley and Kyla Kackley who shot a 41. Haley Hamilton also finished with a score of 41.

The Lady Quakers were led by Makayla Stoffer who shot a team best 54.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next travel to Canton South to take on the Wildcats on Monday, August 14. Tee-Time is set for 4:15 PM at Spring Valley Golf Course.
