Louisville Wins OT Thriller at Carrollton – Boys Freshman Basketball
Louisville 44, Carrollton 43, OT
The Louisville Leopards Boys Freshman Basketball team won an overtime thriller over the host Carrollton Warriors 44-43 at CHS Thursday Evening. With the victory, Louisville is now 8-3 overall and extends their unbeaten NBC mark to 6-0.
Allen Staley hit 5 of the Leopards 7 three-pointers and scored a game-high 15 points to lead Louisville. After spotting Carrollton a 40-38 lead in overtime, Staley hit home a go-ahead three-pointer to put the Leopards up 41-40 with just 16 seconds remaining.

After that, Austin Pugh hit a pair of free throws and Carter Rode extended the Louisville advantage to 44-40 with another. The Warriors would hit a triple before the clock ran out, but the Leopards prevailed 44-43.
Collin Chambers also scored 11 points and Grayson Beamer scored 6 for Louisville. The Leopards will be back in action on Saturday in the Battle for Louisville. They will hit the road to take on the crosstown Knights starting at 10 AM in The Dungeon!
